Kathy grew up travelling the world and never saw a reason to stop. Three decades in the industry later — most of them spent with one of the most respected names in luxury travel, — she still loves connecting travellers to her favourite people and places around the world. She poured all of it into founding Porte Travel, the boutique practice she now runs from Toronto.
Think of her as a matchmaker: the job isn't to sell you a trip, but to find the one that actually fits you, then handle every detail so you don't have to. She loves active, immersive travel, is enviably well connected for pulling off the improbable, and has a deep love and almost encyclopedic knowledge of hotels — from remote lodges to boutique gems to the occasional bit of over-the-top indulgence. Recognized among the industry's leading advisors, Kathy builds journeys for discerning travellers that feel made-to-measure, because they are.

Having lived in Toronto, Chicago, and Vancouver, she brings a well-travelled perspective and global mindset to every itinerary.
